What could have been a relaxing evening with knitting, cats, chat etc, was abruptly curtailed by Unexpected Sorbitol In The Bowel Area. I've had a half-shower, & we've put affected items into the washer for an overnight wash. Third pair of trousers in 3 days!!!! The culprit turns out to have been the (alas!) delicious M&S white & milk coated fudge bites: 'Humectant - Sorbitol'. And even More Alas, the cinnamon bun fudge bites have it as well. We've checked the Tesco fudge, which does not; nor does the fancy fudge (also M&S!!) that Roberta bought me.
