I just released #PGPainless 2.0.3, which fixes a bug where OpenPGP keys were not usable for certain operations if they contained recent third-party signatures.
Kind of embarrassing and I'm glad to have a fix out now :)

Yes, I'm making errors when the workload is too high or when I actually wasn't correctly trained / told like that full blood samples can't be frozen. It was a Parameter that normally comes already as plasma sample and that full blood came was the first time for me. So because it was late, not told to watch out for that and I was told to freeze any samples over night, I froze it.

I was trained by people who actually did things wrong and had been trained wrong themselves already.

What insanity is it that I'm supposed to suddenly do things fully correct or have read up on it if I don't know what it all is I need to pay attention to?

The funny thing is, they now started to fully restructure the workplace I'm at and changed the batch documentation, the storage, the #sop s , and they move the devices actually to a new room that is bigger and has more climate control power.

I do get along with everybody at work, I'm nice, I smile, I feel good and happy when them, I'm empathetic, helpful, humble and apologize if I made a mistake even if it's not my fault, I'd even spend over night there if that was required coz I'm really damn passionate about lab and #medicine etc.

But somehow... I'm still the ass...

¿Pozole en fiestas patrias?: aquí algunos beneficios y riesgos

El consumo de pozole ofreció nutrientes importantes pero también riesgos en exceso durante celebraciones patrias.

El pozole se reconoció como uno de los platillos más tradicionales de México en septiembre. Según el Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) en 2024, un plato mediano aportó entre 240 y 270 calorías.

Además de proteínas de cerdo o pollo, incluyó hierro, potasio, magnesio, zinc, calcio y diversas vitaminas. El maíz proporcionó carbohidratos complejos y fibra, mientras los vegetales añadieron antioxidantes y beneficios digestivos.

No obstante, este platillo casi nunca se consumió solo. Se acompañó de tostadas, crema, queso, chicharrón y bebidas azucaradas, elevando el aporte calórico diario hasta en 400 calorías extra.

Recomendaciones del IMSS

El IMSS sugirió optar por pozole de pollo en lugar de cerdo. Recomendó además agregar verduras y consumir tostadas horneadas en vez de fritas para reducir grasas.

Advirtió que el exceso, como ingerir más de dos platos en una comida, ocasionó indigestión. Los síntomas incluyeron ardor, reflujo, inflamación abdominal y malestar general.

Otro riesgo fue el alto contenido de sodio, que elevó la presión arterial. También incrementó la posibilidad de problemas renales y trastornos cardiovasculares si se consumió en exceso.

El organismo precisó que moderación y balance resultaron claves para mantener el pozole como parte de una dieta saludable.

Obesidad y síndrome de ovario poliquístico

En México, el síndrome de ovario poliquístico (SOP) afectó a más del 20 por ciento de mujeres en edad fértil. La cifra superó el promedio mundial, que osciló entre seis y 13 por ciento.

De acuerdo con la ENSANUT 2024, el 41 por ciento de mujeres adultas presentó obesidad, una de las tasas más altas del mundo. Ambas condiciones mostraron relación directa a través de resistencia a la insulina.

El SOP ocasionó irregularidades menstruales, infertilidad, acné, exceso de vello y aumento de peso abdominal. Además, se vinculó con diabetes tipo 2, hipertensión, colesterol alto y cáncer endometrial.

El vínculo fue contundente: ocho de cada diez mujeres con sobrepeso u obesidad desarrollaron SOP, lo que aumentó complicaciones metabólicas y reproductivas en México.

Salud mental y obesidad

La obesidad en México afectó a más del 70 por ciento de adultos y 35 por ciento de menores en 2025. El país figuró entre los primeros lugares mundiales en prevalencia de obesidad infantil y adulta.

Este padecimiento elevó el riesgo de enfermedades crónicas como diabetes tipo 2 y males cardiovasculares. También generó altos costos al sistema de salud nacional, según datos de la Secretaría de Salud.

El suicidio registró 9 mil casos en 2024, con predominio de 80.7 por ciento en hombres. Fue la segunda causa de muerte en jóvenes de 15 a 29 años, de acuerdo con el INEGI.

Entre 30 y 60 por ciento de pacientes con obesidad presentaron depresión o ansiedad. El vínculo entre obesidad, salud mental y suicidio configuró un desafío urgente en adolescentes y adultos jóvenes.

Fiestas patrias y alimentación

Durante las fiestas patrias, los mexicanos ingirieron más de 4,300 calorías en un solo día. El consumo duplicó el promedio habitual y generó un incremento de peso de hasta tres kilos en cuatro días.

Los alimentos más consumidos fueron pozole, tamales, sopes y gorditas, acompañados de bebidas alcohólicas y refrescos. El exceso provocó indigestión, estreñimiento y alteraciones hormonales en personas con enfermedades crónicas.

El 75 por ciento de adultos en México ya presentó sobrepeso u obesidad en 2025, lo que agravó los efectos. El aumento rápido de peso durante septiembre afectó directamente la salud metabólica.

Las autoridades de salud recomendaron controlar porciones, elegir versiones de pollo y preferir agua simple. También sugirieron integrar frutas, verduras y actividad física para contrarrestar los efectos de los festivos. –sn–
