We had the bar to ourselves from 4-5 p.m. When we left at 5:30 the place was packed with a mix of tourists and locals there for the special. 75% of the bar was filled. They also offer the burger specials in the outdoor lounge. I do not know if it is available to go. There is also a full bar menu available.
A solid, very filling burger and a strong cocktail. I could live without the fries or salad, but would go back to try the classic burger and have a well G&T for $20!! We cleaned our plates with the exception of the salad.

Seeing as it is tick season here, exhibited by the amount we are picking off the dogs after our walks, I refreshed my research on what’s around the Sonoma Valley area. First, there is an advantage to having Yellow Labs as it’s easy to spot the ticks. Second, in the last 10 years in Sonoma County there have been 77 cases of Lyme disease. Not a lot, but not zero either. Third, Lyme is carried by only one of the local ticks - The Western Black Legged tick. Attached is a nice summary from the CA state vector Disease site. #SonomaValley #Hiking #Parasites

Lots of trees down across the trails today. Most of them small and easily dispatched with the handheld chainsaw we carry . Notable sightings- ladybugs are overwintering in the usual spot, and a red bellied newt down by the creek. #hiking #SonomaValley
