THE SOUND OF INCLUSION is part of European Action Week!

Departing from the question ‘What might this place sound like?’, @Soundtrackcity and architects4future Berlin invite you to join us on a sound walk and subsequent workshop at and around Alexanderplatz in Berlin. Together with sound artists and the public, we aim to explore the interplay between architecture and urban sound, and to propose listening as a rich method to conceive and create sustainable and inclusive urban places.

Where & When?
Meeting point are the ruins of a former monastery at Klosterstraße 73a in Berlin Mitte. Sunday, September 13, 2026, 14:00 – 18:00. Language: English and German. Please register at https://tally.so/r/Y57xAd

To activate our sense of hearing, the event will start with a participatory sound performance by Berlin-based sound artist Max Joy, after which we will embark on a soundwalk around the area. The second part of the event will be a workshop at Haus der Statistik, located at the corner of Otto-Braun-Str. and Karl-Marx-Allee.
