During the late 1950s, it was quite common to have references to current hit records in the lyrics of new songs. In some extreme cases, the lyrics were almost totally constructed of other song titles. These are the first five examples of this that came into my mind:
Larry Williams: Short Fat Fanny (1957)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWYhv2OUYOcMickey & Sylvia: Can't Get You On The Phone (1958)

Every Jazz artiste has a song with the words “Rio” or “Paris” in the song title, at some point.
•April in Paris - Wynton Marsalis
•Alone in Paris - Alphonse Mouzon
•April in Paris - Ella Fitzgerald & Sarah Vaughn
•A Place in Paris - Michel Legrand
Another Song About Paris - Dave Frishberg
•Before Paris - Tom Misch
•Paris in May - Alex Bugnon
•Evening in Paris - Quincy Jones
