Painting of the Day
Le Songe de Gilgamesh, 2021, by Paris based Palestinian artist Rayan Yasmineh. The painting depicts his younger brother at their family home, reclining on the sofa in jogging pants - combining a traditional aesthetic with modern elements is a theme in many of his paintings. And the patterns on the carpet and the dishes are true to his mother's home decor
