I have rebuild some of the services on #Proxmox.

I have working:
- #HomeAssistant
- #HomeBridge
- #ADGuard
- #NginxProxyManager
- #Transmission
- #Jellyfin

I have also deployed some more, like #Seerr, #Radarr, #Sonarr, #Prowlarr - but they are yet to be fully configured.

A bit tricky to mount one network share across multiple containers, but managed to get along with systemd mount mechanism.

It’s now 3am… I guess it’s time to go to sleep…And yet, I’m watching #StarCraft replays…😅

I'd rather buy a copy and digitize the media.

FYI.. if you happen to have added Huntarr to your -arr stack, be aware that it has serious security issues.

If you happened to expose it to the web, you'd best take it down immediately. Otherwise, someone could easily swoop in and nuke your media library. Or worse.

Trying to setup #Radarr and #Sonarr to stick to #x264 because my relatives have shit systems and wow, simply being able to choose your codec would be so much easier than the byzantine nightmare they have implemented

I guess that leads me to a question... Is there a good self hosted tool for simple management of embedded subtitles?

By simple, I mean:

• A file has subtitles tagged as English Forced when those subtitles should actually be regular English not-forced.

(Okay, that seems to be the scenario I run into more times than I'd like. Bazarr can handle the remaining missing-subs situations. And tDarr already strips out the non-English ones for me.)

Es increíble que una vez que te anda bien el ecosistema -arr en tu servidor empezás a pedirle series y películas por doquier y ahí te das cuenta que el espacio que tenias hace rato y lo venias cuidando no te alcanza para nada. Daaaamn… I’ve finally had time and was able to configure the part of *arr suite… #Prowlarr, #Sonarr, #Radarr, #Transmission and #Jellyseerr now work in conjunction, so you „order” something in Jellyseer and it goes through other apps to Transmission for download, to be later imported into #Jellyfin library… 😁

Looks like DrunkenSlug registrations are open this morning. It's a great NZB platform for finding downloads on Usenet. (You'll also need a Usenet subscription to get access to the actual downloads.)

Works great (way better than torrents) with self-hosted UseNet apps like SABnzbd, along with Prowlarr, Sonarr, and Radarr.

My #Helm chart for a complete home media/streaming stack, Flex has been updated to version 0.2.0 🎉

Previously, it supports #Plex as the streaming service, #Bazarr for automated subtitle downloads, #Flaresolverr for bypassing web protections/challenges, #Jackett as proxy server for #torrent trackers, #Overseerr as an interface for requesting media, #qBittorrent as the torrent client, #Radarr for downloading/managing movies, and #Sonarr for downloading/managing TV shows.

Now, to reduce reliance on Plex and lean towards a completely #FOSS stack, I've added in support for #Jellyfin as a drop-in replacement for Plex, #JellyPlex-Watched for syncing watch states between Jellyfin/Plex servers, and #Jellyseerr as a drop-in replacement for Overseerr, which not only works with Plex but also Jellyfin.

I've been using this for over a year at this point and it works perfectly. For me personally, I have everything supported deployed using this on my #Kubernetes cluster except for Jellyfin, Plex, and qBittorrent, which I've deployed as individual VMs instead on #Proxmox cos I find it less resource/bandwidth taxing on my cluster that way - this shouldn't be an issue if your cluster is a lot beefier. During non-peak loads, the (Flex) stack uses up a total of only ~0.19 CPU core and ~1.6GB memory.

pero sin embargo, desde sonarr, y prowlarr, el cliente me da OK cuando lo testeo (deluge)

I’m running a small Jellyfin server and just found this repo: https://github.com/tcheronneau/homers

Initially it was not compatible with my setup, but opened an issue and the developer @mcth.fr (https://bsky.app/profile/mcth.fr) helped me and quickly developed the necessary changes, so now I can use Homers for my setup, with:
- Jellyfin
- Jellyseerr
- Sonarr
- Radarr

Currently I run an alpha tag, but I’ll keep alpha testing the changes.

Also I fixed the default example Grafan Dashboard too (I plan to publish if everything is working).

Well, added a storage tier this evening.

A couple 4 Tb drives which I had laying about, as #JBOD (#MergerFS), for those media files which are "replaceable" and don't really need to be on #ZFS mirrors (~70 & ~16 Tb).

I now feed into #Plex from the different tiers using #OverlayFS.

Pretty neat. I can move things around without Plex noticing, select the tier in #Sonarr / #Radarr, and if one of those 4 Tb drives goes down, NBD and I can see what is missing.

More iops don't hurt either.
