Trumpet update: I've now had three lessons, and yesterday my teacher also gave me the book he used to use for beginners, and it's super. I can play whole notes from the A below middle-C and up to the C above middle-C.
Yesterday I learnt B-flat.
Teacher: So now you know your first flat!
Me: Yes! And it's B-flat, which is my favourite flat.
Teacher: ...is it?
It then occurred to me that not everyone has favourite flats? Surely that's not the case!

Trying to find houses to rent in this Sydney market is a fucking nightmare. Rents might have peaked... but for something simular to what we have now it's at least another $150-300/wk on top of our already freshly increased rent. #SoMuchFun

Get a 3d printer they said. It's a great hobby they said. It's so much fun and you're going to enjoy it SO MUCH, they said. I do mostly, but apparently my printer is the most sadistic device to have ever extruded filament.
Tried to replace my nozzle with a new one in order to try to reduce stringing and IT SNAPPED OFF IN THE HEATER BLOCK.
Ordered a pair of new heater blocks, then rolled two joints.
