While content warnings can be effective, it is impossible to 100% predict if a person will be triggered or offended by something you post. For instance: while most people find cats and dogs cute, some people have a severe phobia of them. We mostly tag for common triggers, or things most people find to be disturbing.
Which does not make content warnings worthless! We should continue to use them. But I imagine that posts with descriptive titles and tags may be used for this one day :neocat_think:
As of right now though, I don't think social sites (even on fedi) have a title field. Neat to think about though. Like a (nonfiction) book or essay, it tells you what you might read inside! Tags already help with both reach and filtering. It would be an efficient system :neocat__w_:
