I’ve had my #Sony #RX10MarkIV since March 2022. It feels like I’ve had this camera for a LOT longer than that. I was prepared to say I’ve had it for over 5 years, but I digress.
I didn’t fall in love with this camera like my other Sony cameras because the autofocus would hunt and often give up during #MacroPhotography.
Since I bought my Fuji, I’ve been ironically learning about Sony #filmsimulationrecipes, making your photos look like film, straight out of camera.
When I started shooting, I ran into the Sony autofocus problem all over again. After going online and wading through self-important “expert” posts from Sony snobs who refused to be helpful, I finally found out what was wrong. Apparently, I had a focus limiter switch on the lens body and it was turned on.
