I’ve released “new" music!
"New" in quotes because the track was released at the last ever Solskogen back in 2020, but was then left to dust until my daughter drew cover art for it and submitted it as the winning entry for TRSAC 2025's Freestyle Graphics Competition.
My good friends in Modulo One have also contributed a remix, including a music video, so I'm very happy about this release!

finale of the #ShaderShowdown of #Solskogen2020 starts in about 12 minutes on https://twitch.tv/solskogenparty

Awesome #shaders from #blackle and #provod!
Congrats on the win, blackle!
(I apologise for the lack of individual image descriptions, but it's hard to keep up otherwise. Short version: screenshots of the shader showdown, showing round and triangular pegs/pistons in red black and grey for Blackle's, and a square-windowed room for Provod's)

This is definitely my favourite of the #Solskogen 2020 #Logo competition: Solskogen in Flowers by #uLLsoKKen!

One third of the way, and the artists are starting to show the #art they are working on:

Okay, so if I pass them through the built-in image editor, it does work.

#Solskogen #demoparty has kicked off!
I'll likely be #liveTooting the event all day, but I'll try to stick to replies to this thread, so if you get tired of them, feel free to mute this conversation (or alternatively mute the #Solskogen hashtag, as other #demosceners might be tooting about it on their own feeds).
The day is starting off with Solskogen Favourites throughout the years:

Schedule for #Solskogen #demoparty #livestream is up!
The party kicks off at 12 in less than 15 minutes! :D -
@Truck any idea if there's a schedule known yet for #Solskogen? :) Their website only seems to mention the stream start at 13:00 so far :)
I'm especially curious if it's just on Saturday, or also Sunday :)
-
Looking forward to tomorrow's #Solskogen #Demoparty #Livestream! :)
Looks like the schedule is still rather empty on solskogen.no though... -
Oh, apparently I missed that #Solskogen #demoparty is also going to be online-only...

Such a shame... :( I was actually looking forward to meeting a bunch of #demosceners in person again.Good thing I hadn't bought a plane/train ticket yet though...

@thj
how familiar are you with the #demoscene?
Since you seem to enjoy coding on these things atm, you might get a kick out of joining the demoscene and perhaps visit a #demoparty some day?
I think there's no more party scheduled in #Norway for the rest of the year (#Kindergarden no longer seems to be arranged since 2014; not sure if #Solskogen is still a thing), but later in October there will be #TRSAC held in #Denmark: http://trsac.dk/about/
