The #Gameboy camera works fine, I might need to clean the lense, though. To gain access to the images, I ordered a Shawazu GB Dumper kit and soldered it today.
Only thing I changed was using a genuine Pi Pico instead of the clone that was in the #solderingkit.
I had to resolder a few of the connections of the level shifters, since they usually are soldered with through hole pins.
Also, I used green enameled copper wire for the two jumper wires.

Second #soldering exercise: #SMD parts. They were very fiddly and I think I'll stick with 1208 or 0805. Those 0603 resistors were too small for my taste. Also, I had two little errors at the first go, one of the 0603s and one pin at the SOT23-5s weren't soldered properly, leading to two LEDs not lighting up.

There will be another table right underneath the roof window on the right, where the final spot for the soldering station will be, so that the fumes get extracted better. But I had to give it a try, after so long no place for my hobby. A very old logic probe kit. I'll replace the LEDs with brighter ones, and the tip needs improvement. But I'm quite satisfied with my work and it was fun.
