My panels are oriented for max winter power generation. 2575W of panels producing 2110W or 81%. The steeper angle is keeping them cooler.

1. Did a very fiddly and intricate #NGauge #ModelRailway task that I don't have the energy to describe properly but rest assured I'm satisfied and happy that one of my coaches is now running and coupling properly.
2. Our guys work fast and we now have 4 #solar streetlights at intervals along our driveway, each on a home made 4.5m pole.
3. Wife is seeing her brother in Davao this weekend, so until Monday afternoon it's just me and the #dogs. And the goats. And the chickens. And one of our workers. And his duck. Quack. Went to mow a meadow...

Mein Zendure SolarFlow läuft seit 2025 komplett lokal, ohne Hersteller-Cloud. Der kleine Haken an der Geschichte: Bei mir werkelt ein Hub 2000 aus der ersten Generation, und der lässt sich nur über einen Umweg von der Cloud lösen - per Bluetooth und einem Community-Tool. My apologies to the mid-atlantic region for blotting out the sun for days on end. See, I added 5kWH of new battery hardware to the off-grid solar setup we have on land we own nearby and I've been trying to get the system to balance and reach close to 100% across the various units.
The moment I plugged it in, everything got gray for days on end. Normally I like gray, but right now I either want the rain we really need or the sunlight my two solar arrays (there and home) need. Typical.

#PVbuddies #solar #DIY Unsere PV-Anlage hat zwei WR mit zusammen 13 KW Maximalleistung. Diese wird nie erreicht, da die PV auf vier unterschiedlich ausgerichtete und z.T. auch verschattete Seiten aufgeteilt ist - wir haben in gut drei Jahren nie mehr als 10 KW Einspeisung.
Darf ich die PV ohne neue Netzverträglichkeitsprüfung und Co erweitern, wenn ich die genehmigten 13 KW einhalte, bspw. durch Zubau von nur 3 kWp oder die Einspeiselimitierung?

Seit zwei Wochen läuft mein Balkonkraftwerk nun mit einem Speicher. Vor einer Woche habe ich diesen sogar noch einmal erweitert. Und seit zwei Wochen bezieht ich nur noch Strom wenn ich mehr als 800 W brauche. Trotz der grauen Tage in der Zeit. Jetzt wird ist das Wetter besser und vermutlich werde ich morgen wieder ins Netz einspeisen, weil mein Speicher (5,28 kWh) voll ist. Es geht also wenn ein Wille da ist!
