I really hate AliExpress these days.
They used to be a good place to buy items and delivery from France or Spain, but now they have changed everything and moved their shipping location to the east and almost every seller is using these dirty tricks to get people to click on their item.I am looking for a soil press to build my own nursing blocks. The ones from the Dutch company are about 40 to 70 Euro and was surprised when I found one on AE so cheap.
But when tried to add to my cart, I saw that the price on the main page was for some crappy plastic sticks and the metal block press is actually about €22 .
If I had a welding machine, I would make them myself. But I may end up buying the ones from Netherlands that comes with solid metal and not some cheap sheet metal that this AE item is probably made of.

I wish I had done more research before I ordered a #SeedStarting mix with peat… I have made Eliot Coleman’s recipe for soil blocks in the past, but I don’t need a ton as I’m just getting back to #gardening after many years. I will have to try this peat-free recipe made with coconut coir for my #SoilBlocks.

9 days later we have signs of life from the Good King Henry soil block experiment. I was under the impression these would take a long time to germinate so now I regret starting these so early!
