In Texas, yes THAT awful transphobic place where lawmakers seem to hate everyone, an anti-lgbt sodomy law passed in 1973 made it a crime for anyone to engage in certain sexual acts, including oral or anal intercourse, with another person of the same sex.
It seems to be working through the state Legislature. It smells like "we don't hate gays" cover for hating trans people but let's take it as a mild win.
