The version with a 128gb ssd and Windows is $169.) These for a #cluster, so 16 cores, disturbed 48gb memory. Yes, existing old 10gbps nfs server and a small 10/2.5gbps switch.

    But with #RAM prices out of control? ~$60 per core and 48gb #MPI #compute!

    It's a GMKtec G3 Plus Intel N150 Mini-PC upgraded with

    • 1x 32 GB of Transcend JetRam SODIMM DDR4 3200 2R x 8
    • 1x ADATA XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro 1TB M.2 NVME SSD Gen 3 in 2280
    • 1x KingSpec NT-2242 SSD 2TB M.2 SATA III in 2242 - running @chimera
