CW: Food (homemade soda-bread)
I do want to experiment a bit with the #sodaBread recipe though.
I want to compare another batch of these that use baking powder, with a batch using baking soda and just milk, and one with baking soda, milk, and something acidic like lemon juice (or use buttermilk instead).
Especially since a traditional recipe uses #buttermilk (which contains #lacticAcid) rather than milk, I don't trust just plain milk to react enough with baking soda to form enough #carbonDioxide?
