*grits teeth* ok so I'm a legal academic at Durham. My research is broadly #sociolegal and #qualitative, and my area is #publiclaw / #constitutionallaw. I focus much more on the non-judicial branches of the state, the #executivebranch and #legislativebranch / #legislatures/ #Parliaments. I'm *particularly* interested in the role of #officials / #civilservice/ #bureaucracy, and the maintenance of ideals in the grubbiness of organisation.
