#sociodon @sociology If it helps, the journal article I am writing is going to be at least 9K, including references but not including tables and figures. It's a quantitative article.

My original plan was to send it to #SociologyOfEducation (#SocOfEd). But although they have a 10K word count, the tables and figures count against the word count, so I'm down to about 8700 and I don't think that's possible unless I move a table that I *know* reviewers will want to see to an appendix.

On the #SocialScience job market? The US Government Accountability Office’s Applied Research and #Methods team is looking for two social science methodologists. Salary of at least $98k. Deadline is 2/22.
