#meta ”glitches in the system”
[…] Hundreds of users have reported that posts on #Instagram related to #Palestine were limited or removed with little explanation, while others have found their accounts entirely suspended. Meta previously attributed these removals to glitches in its systems, but an independent analysis commissioned by the company in 2021 found that it had previously violated Palestinian human rights by censoring content related to previous Israeli attacks on Gaza.

I do wonder about how the different #SocilaMedia platforms affect behaviour.
I've seen a couple of times toots from partially sighted people saying #Mastodon has vastly more image descriptions that #Twitter.
And I sort of think that's because Twitter is outward-looking while Mastodon is inward-looking.
Twitter is sloganeering and anticipating perceived political rivals, while Mastodon is about talking to the person next to you (electronically speaking).
But it's not just that. It's more too.
