You know. I really don't understand the people who are angry at the world changing, merely because it is *changing*. Note here that I'm not talking about the sudden changes that we, #ActuallyAutistic people, do not like. I'm talking about those gradual changes to society in particular.
Yes, the #language is changing. So what?
Yes, people now have preferences regarding pronouns. So what?
Yes, people have preferences in how they are addressed. So what?
I reasserted my #pansexual and #polyamorous nature about a year and a half ago. I was 49. No longer a spring chicken. Prior to that, I was in a #straight #monogamous relationship with my ex-wife.
Did I need a crash course in how to behave properly in #queer culture? You betcha!
Do I still need to continue my crash course? You betcha!
Just this morning, I was talking to an #enby and was trying to convey that I want them to be happy. I have decent experience with happy boy and happy girl. What do I put there???? Okay, I settled on happy enby.
I have chemo brain too, which makes me more likely to make mistakes when we're face to face. 😩
