Why is this not plastered all over the place.

Its international scale.
A ex-president attempts to start a #socialPlatform supposedly to support truth by #lying about the origins of the software. Labelling the #Mastodon icon a mere bug, and labelling the platform proprietary, and not upholding the #AGPL license.
Is everyone looking forward to seeing this story in the international news, where it should be?
It deserves a proper hashtag – #mastoGate?

We think #Fediverse, the way it generally works today, is as #ethical a #socialPlatform as anyone can get.It's not without inherant pitfalls of course. You can still fall into traps like instances that are laden with problems. But on the whole, #Fedi is where its at.
Its why we produced the (#)Fediflyer.
Our opinion is that Fedi, #garlicRouting and #Bitcoin are the three most important uses of #theInternet.
