When did it become #SociallyAcceptable to hunt down someone's toots on Mastodon and slander the crap out of them out of the blue?
I just received a reply toot to a conversation (it was a short conversation) from a few days ago accusing the person I was conversing with of being a paedophile/zoophile and a bunch of other ugly, hateful things.
I, of course, blocked and reported this account instantly.. and I hope @jerry follows through with the banhammer and pushes for the admin of the other instance they are on to liberally apply the banhammer...
Some people need to #growupalready
EDIT: Including a screenshot of the post.. it's behind a CW for a reason. if @[email protected] (and all other admins, for that matter) doesn't take action against this sort of thing, Mastodon will devolve to sub-twitter levels.
I have no idea if any of the accusations are true, but even if they are, this kind of tactic is definitely beyond reprehensible.
