I'll say though, they're on fire with these names. Imagine the freaking chutzpah it takes to name a bill that bans mandatory DEI training in higher education the "Do No Harm Act".

Imagine the extraordinary privilege you have to enjoy to experience teaching about the social determinants of health as harmful. Oh, and they're banning CEUs that include anti-racism the week of #MLK's birthday.

A student cited one of those papers that says #homophobia is not correlated with adolescent depression— bullying is. I'm not going to call anyone out by name, but with love in my heart: if you're going to make a statement like this, but you DIDN'T collect #SOGI data, and didn't run analyses where you included this as a covariate nor stratify by identity, you're just doing it wrong. And in doing so, causing harm.

if there's any interest, happy to post screenshots of the thread from bird app explaining the original project, which downloaded the #publichealth inspection data for prisons, jails and ICE detention locally and built a dataset into CSV. Viz tools added for my MPH #socialepi capstone. Written in very cobbled together #rstats and #python.
