Perhaps later modules of the #COVID-19 #Inquiry report will ask to what extent #SocialDarwinist and #eugenicist politicians knowingly or intentionally crafted policy that widened inequality. Political leaders did not care about #disabled, #older, #deprived and financially #precarious people. They possibly committed #democide, accelerating deaths of people with high social welfare costs (and inadvertently causing even greater levels of long-term illness & unemployment).
At its heart the support of these far right goons for the death penalty is their #SocialDarwinist support for #eugenics. Strong racial component, but applies to mental illness, intellectual weaknesses or just perceived character flaws. Given enough time and lack of sufficient pushback they would expand the death penalty. Abortion, contraception etc are already targets for ever increasing penalties.

Change starts with a change in thinking.
This thinking is so antiquated and #SocialDarwinist.
I am not in favor of #Marxism, as it was destined to fail in human society, but #capitalists should remember the last time when #capital became all powerful: the rise if #Marxism and #Fascism.
