Over the past few days I went 26 hours without a meal, at which point ex-boyf stepped in, came over and cooked some pasta. Then another 49 hours without a meal. Final two dating-apps deleted. My dating-life is officially ended, although it de facto ended a couple of years back when my health deteriorated under the ‘care’ of #TraffordCouncil due to their failures to ensure I was fed & hydrated properly, becoming mostly #bedridden. #SocialCare #SocialCareCrisis

@will_ins_Gruene Alas, I am 99% #bedridden. I try to get downstairs once/week, but this is the first time in eighteen days. Spent an hour in kitchen then crawled up the stairs to first-floor sitting-room. Forty-five mins. in recliner. Then crawled up next flight to my bed-cell. Stuffed & happy! #SocialCareCrisis

Since #carers stopped coming in early Dec., I leave my bed even more rarely as donæ feel safe if no-one around or due to be. Had my first #fall of 2023 en route to wc. No damage done. Just a tad shaken. 🙏🏻

I have gone from being very poorly cared for by #Trafford to now not at all - the biggest #abuse by those with power. Would the #Courts consider causing #malnourishment & extended periods (months) of #dehydration worse than swearing at a #carer? #SocialCareCrisis #pwME #SevereME

I have not been hungry for some 25 years: I get no physiological indications to prompt me to eat. I do not, as a rule, recall to nosh. However, sometimes something will nudge me to consider eating. A few minutes ago I thought that it would be good to consume a piece of fruit. Unfortunately, I have no snack-bowl in my bed-cell. BBC News report: Excess deaths in 2022 among worst in 50 years

"More than 650,000 deaths were registered in the UK in 2022 - 9% more than 2019. This represents one of the largest excess death levels outside the pandemic in 50 years."

The president of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine suggested the crisis in urgent care could be causing "300-500 deaths a week".
