  1. Today – Thursday 26th June on GamerPauly Twitch

Couple of reviews today, maybe an additional just for fun stream, if I have time later. First up is Thrifty Business on PC, a simulation game where you build up your own second-hand shop (known as thrift in America) and sell goods etc. Then its Soccer Kid Collection also on PC, a blast from the Amiga Past (Amiga version coming soon to collection) where you control a young lad obsessed with football (its Football btw not Soccer) playing with his big bouncy ball, doing tricks, collecting […]

  2. How boring my dad's superficiality on any Mario game I play for typical eternal elements of saga, for him the pearls are those he played on #C64 & #A500 (loved by Gen. Xs), many that he mentions are ports: #DrMario, #RainbowIsland, #BubbleBobble. I didn't grow up and be fan on those, I tried but nothing, but there're some that I like and that are also multiplatform: #Turrican, #ChaosEngine, #SoccerKid, #BubbleandSqueak, #SensibleSoccer, #JamesPond, #Zool, #Speedball, #ItCamefromtheDesert

  3. Another reason I love to tinker with original Amiga disk images instead of just using WHDLoad packages:

Here are two program disks from the same game "Soccer Kid". The regular OCS/ECS version still uses a custom trackloader without a readable file system. In contrast, the - later released - AGA version does already have a file system, icons and a harddrive installer.

That's some technical evolution from 1993 to 1994.
