Bad weather beaten! Exciting sortie that was meant to be 3 minutes @ 1,500ft turning into a 25 minute 3,000ft climb followed by an "expedited" descent back to Earth to avoid the showers. So good to be back aloft again since January.

After a morning of admin, granted myself a rare midweek reprieve this lunchtime - 44 minutes too, which, even with a long tow, isn't bad for the end of October (all thermal, no wave!)

After over a month away, it was nice to get back aloft today and go solo on the winch again. A dark and low visibility Autumn day over York, with next to no wind, but managed to get to a respectable 1,500ft. Nice reminder of how gently the Ka13 flies.
