make 2 delish sandwiches!
4 slices of grainy bread
A small hunk of Gruyere cheese, grated (or sub other cheese!)
A nice tomato or two
Chopped chives
1 egg beaten with a slosh of milk
Salt & pepper
ButterButter one side of each slice of bread. Place 2 of the slices, butter side down. Pop cheese on top, then tomato, s&p, then chives, more cheese, then top with bread slice. Dip each sandwich in the egg mix & fry in butter over medium-low heat. #recipe #cooking #food #hygge #snuglife
