An affected family that came out to speak in support of the APP were Sara Lacy who spoke about the death at the hands of tribal police of her husband Cecil Lacy Jr. Sara also spoke about her recent legislative work to reopen old police killing cases and how this enabled her to mount a successful wrongful death lawsuit.

WA dept of Ecology says -- Due to sustained stagnant weather conditions and high air pollution levels overnight, the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency is continuing the Stage 1 Air Quality Burn Ban for Snohomish County and adding a Stage 1 Burn Ban for Greater Pierce County effective 2PM today (November 26, 2023).
