Just a snippet of something that could be a full story (but isn't currently)

It’s kind of a relief, if I am to be honest. To know it is not my fault that I’ve never felt like I belong here – it’s just because I actually don’t. You are not my family, not my blood, that is, and despite everything you all gave to me – for which I am very grateful, I finally know why I always felt that way. Please, do not get me wrong, I love all of you from the very bottom of my heart but now that I know the truth, I can’t but try to find out who my actual parents were, even, if there is little chance to still find them alive. I just… have to, pray, do not be angry with me, if you find this note, I’ll come back at some point, loving you no less than I did yesterday.
