Anybody of you folks ever visited a deaddrop?
I always wondered if I catch a virus or something. But I watched Arte Tracks about Sneakernet and now im a bit currios. 5 minutes from my flat there are deaddrops from 2015 and 2021. -

Je viens de tomber sur un documentaire de #arte sur le #sneakernet , je ne connaissais pas du tout. En gros c’est un mouvement qui prône l’auto-hébergement de ses données, et hors d’Internet, donc dans un environnement local, proche. Par exemple un collectif organise des événements en installant un PC commun pour échanger des données. Un autre propose des ateliers pour créer de tous petits serveurs avec du matos de récupération (genre de la taille d’un porte-clés).
