@jwildeboer I'm trying out hyper-local hashtags, for Ireland-based fedi-peeps.
Largely, this involves using Irish language options, or carrying over those which were used in Other Places.
Examples:
#Rothar - meaning "bicycle," equivalent to #BikeTooter
#Aimsir - meaning "weather," equivalent to #WX and #Weather
#Sneachta - meaning "#snow," something we all get very excited about, when it makes an appearance
#JobFairy - news about job vacancies
#TicketFairy - I have tickets to give away

⚠️ Met Éireann's Yellow low temperature/ice warning has been extended, and almost the entire island of Ireland is affected (except Tyrone, Armagh, Fermanagh):
"Very cold with temperatures expected to fall below -3 degrees in many areas. Frost and ice developing will cause hazardous travelling conditions."
This warning remains valid until Friday, 1 December 2023, at 12 noon.
