    Als sich die #Schnecken--die Beute der #Schneckenbussarde--weiterentwickelten und 5x größer wurden, taten dies auch die #Beutevögel:
    ihre Schnäbel wurden ebenfalls größer, ebenso wie ihre Körper, letztere um 12%.

    Eine ähnliche Anpassung wurde bei einer anderen...

    #SnailKites in #Florida Probe #CharlesDarwin was right about #Evolution once again.

    When #snails--the prey of #SnailKites evolved and got 5x bigger, so did the the #BirdsOfPrey:
    their beaks also increased in size, so did their bodies, the latter 12%.

    A similar adaptation by another species of #birds had been observed on the #GalapagosIslands.
