Have had to give up on FOSS SMS apps on Android.

Too many sms never arriving.

Automated messages were the most dropped. But also just P2P were never arriving.

While I suspect Google of some dirty ratfuckery around this, I do receive all known sms messages when using Google Messages on Android.
