The #SMPAG meeting was concluded this morning, the next days are dedicated, for me, to the use of nuclear power sources #NPS in outer space. With the planned return to the moon, nuclear batteries and even lunar reactors receive more attention again. Participation was seldom that broad before. #UN #COPUOS #STSC #space

Already on Monday, the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee started its 2026 session. This morning, the Space Mission Planning Advisory Group started its meeting. At #SMPAG, Space Agencies meet and discuss planetary defence, i. e. how to react in case a Near-Earth Object threatens to hit our planet.
