Ich werde diese heutigen Hypes nie verstehen.
#SmileMovie hatte einen guten Ansatz, der aber durch simplen Monster-Horror zunichte gemacht wurde.
#Terrifier war gut, reiht sich in die besseren Splatterfilme der 80er ein, dort aber eher im unteren Drittel.
Alles nett, aber jenseits von dem, was ich als tollen Horror bezeichnen würde.

That was an outstanding movie with serious It Follows vibes. Right up until the ending, which failed to subvert expectations, and failed to give our heroine any agency. Huge disappointment. Surprise! #SmileMovie will be available to buy on all digital platforms, and streaming "free" on Paramount+ on November 15 (yes, that's tomorrow) in the US and Canada. The movie will roll out internationally on Paramount+ in 2023.
