From 2021, Franklin and Smeagol, two rescue pitties who were left to die on rural GA roads...Both had tough medical conditions.
Top step: Franklin has fused elbows, a genetic condition from in breeding. Found at 4 months old, starving on a side road. Inoperable, but he is in NO pain and gets around fine, if now slowly.
Smeagol was found starving on a dirt road, dragging his back legs. He was about 5 months old. He looked like a very small Chihuahua. Both back kneecaps were ruined, and surgery saved his legs.They were our fosters. Then they were our foster fails. They are both a bit over 4 years old now.
