  8. If anyone's going to Smashing Conf Amsterdam this week and is reading this: I'm going too, and I'm going solo, so if anyone's up for meeting new people, hit me up!

  9. Leaving for Amsterdam tomorrow for #smashingconf. Don't speak until Wednesday, but starting to feel a little nervous already 😅 Been a while since I've been out and about, and I'm looking forward to meeting people in person! Are you going to be there?

  10. @andy I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your presentation at #smashingconf ! Overall was a little underwhelmed by the conference as a whole, but yours was a stand out for sure

  11. I'm so thankful for having been able to teach, speak, and attend #SmashingConf NYC ten years after the one and only other time I attended 🥰 I didn't have _any_ of the things I've done in the last few years in my dreams at that time, so this really caps off what has been a whirlwind of so many incredible experiences that all started from making a decision to blog about CSS 🥺 And none of it would have been possible without the support of so many of you! 💜

  12. Obsessed with @mia's workshop! We started the day with my favorite topic - the history of the web. Builds up awe and creates a foundational understanding of how we got to this reality we are living in. I would love to see bootcamps and colleges all incorporate a course or session on the history of the web. #smashingconf

  14. Learning about Incremental Font Transfer at #smashingconf, a W3C spec to decrease the perceived latency for downloading web fonts - particularly useful for CJK and other non-Latin scripts. w3.org/TR/IFT/

  15. I’ve been at #smashingconf in NYC this week, and it’s been pretty great so far. Day two starts today, but I think I might skip the last talk so my team can go do some NYC tourism before we head back tomorrow.

Here’s Yiying Lu, the creator of the twitter fail whale!

  16. Day 2 of Smashing Conf! I had the best intentions of getting there early for coffee and snacks but I placed my order at (what I thought was) a Starbucks near the venue. Nope! It was well across town. At least my butt in the chair before our mystery speaker is revealed! #smashingconf

  17. Psst. We run a free meetup for #sotr with Storyblok in San Francisco right before @smashingconf. Vitaly Friedman speaking, Marco de Campos from Storyblok joining us and more coming. If you join, we also have a nice discount code for last-minute tickets for #smashingconf. 👉 beyondtellerrand.com/events/st
