  1. I'm already back home and with my 4 girls. Although I missed the second day, I can say that #smashingconf Amsterdam was fantastic! I met so many friendly people and had great conversations. The talks were also really good!

Thank you all, and see you at the next event! ❤️

  2. And the next talk of #smashingconf is Nathan Curtis with a cool look at some cool ways to ease the transition between Figma and Code, with the help of some scripts and a bit of AI.

  5. For anyone who wasn't able to grab a copy of my book, I'm sorry. I didn't expect so much demand. You can buy it at any bookstore on- and offline! #smashingconf

  6. One of the advantages of being the first speaker after the lunch break is that you can see how cute people look when they sleep. 😁 #smashingconf

  7. Nick DiLallo is up next at #smashingconf, with a great talk on UX writing for AI interfaces

  8. And now @[email protected] is on stage at #smashingconf, with 19.5 things we don't know about accessibility in html and CSS.

  12. Hahaha what the fuck. How am I supposed to speak here? #smashingconf

  13. You know how they say that you should never meet your hero. @kevinpowell is a hero you want to meet. I had such a great time chatting with him about CSS and beyond. I'm really looking forward to the first day of the conference tomorrow. It'll be great! #smashingconf

  14. If anyone's going to Smashing Conf Amsterdam this week and is reading this: I'm going too, and I'm going solo, so if anyone's up for meeting new people, hit me up!

  15. Gooooedemorgen Amsterdam! 🐣

I'm looking forward to spending an entire day with 20+ people eager to learn about web accessibility! ❤️ #smashingconf

  16. Leaving for Amsterdam tomorrow for #smashingconf. Don't speak until Wednesday, but starting to feel a little nervous already 😅 Been a while since I've been out and about, and I'm looking forward to meeting people in person! Are you going to be there?

  17. @andy I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your presentation at #smashingconf ! Overall was a little underwhelmed by the conference as a whole, but yours was a stand out for sure

  18. I'm so thankful for having been able to teach, speak, and attend #SmashingConf NYC ten years after the one and only other time I attended 🥰 I didn't have _any_ of the things I've done in the last few years in my dreams at that time, so this really caps off what has been a whirlwind of so many incredible experiences that all started from making a decision to blog about CSS 🥺 And none of it would have been possible without the support of so many of you! 💜

  19. Obsessed with @mia's workshop! We started the day with my favorite topic - the history of the web. Builds up awe and creates a foundational understanding of how we got to this reality we are living in. I would love to see bootcamps and colleges all incorporate a course or session on the history of the web. #smashingconf

  21. Learning about Incremental Font Transfer at #smashingconf, a W3C spec to decrease the perceived latency for downloading web fonts - particularly useful for CJK and other non-Latin scripts. w3.org/TR/IFT/

  22. I’ve been at #smashingconf in NYC this week, and it’s been pretty great so far. Day two starts today, but I think I might skip the last talk so my team can go do some NYC tourism before we head back tomorrow.
