Somehow I got SmartView working. 😀
(Searched in Settings. Found Smartview. This was the only visible sign of SmartView.
Went to the almost greyed-out section of SmartView Permissions. Enabled everything. Then next day found SmartView in the main Menu. Not sure why this worked.)Low vusion Elderly Relative is now enjoying seeing enlarged relatives on TV screen in video calls.
HDMI cable adaptor has also arrived. Untested.

AirServer is a game changer, a GAME CHANGER !! I don't even like that term, but I'm using it now. I only wish I had known about this sooner. It's a premium app, though, so keep that in mind, but there is a trial to see if it's worth it. It is !!

I bought a Google Chromecast on ebay
It turned out to be counterfeited, but ok
The chromecast expects #miracast
The phone has no miracast, it has #smartview only
What am I supposed to do now ?
Should I get a dongle that supports smart view ?
Or should I get an #android device that supports miracast ?

- den von #GooglePlay (habe bis jetzt dort gekauft),
- kann #ebooks von #Thalia,
- und liest mir auf meinem TV mit #SmartView vor,da ich dann es mit meinen #handicaps leichter habe
- kann meine #Bücher auf die #SDkarte schieben?
ich habe alles durchsucht( ich suche seit min 5 jahren) und finde keinen der zu mir passt 😢😨😭 -
