Working on paper is really my favorite surface and these experiments open new possibilities. Overlapping conversations. I love when the marker isn’t fully loaded and the rough surface has areas where the ink doesn’t touch and leaves a texture.

I’m stepping away from my larger works in progress today to focus on a couple small works on paper. It’s always good to change things up and exercise the mind now and then. Plus, I’ve been getting some interesting ideas for these two paintings, so let’s see what happens.

A small display of twelve of my 600 drawing project drawings mounted on cradled panels. These are 4x4 inches with a one inch depth. It’s a sweet way to bypass framing. One for small spaces or a grouping for a larger space.
Left to right I sold number 1 and 7. The others are available if you have any interest. I’m gonna put them up at my artshop for the new year.
