Disfarmer charged 50¢ for three postcard sized photographs. The subjects face the camera and rarely smile usually posing without props against a plain backdrop. Many are residents of Heber Springs.
Considered an eccentric, Disfarmer never married, and lived alone in the photography studio until his death.
