I'm very surprised how much i can host with just a cheap #corei5 on a #lowpower #smallformfactor pc. I'm already hosting everything i want and still have enough resources to host even more in the future.

The funny thing in #SmallFormFactor #sffpc builds is: If you're saying you've "upgraded", you actually have downgraded - but in size only.
For example: Currently I am preparing to add an AIO to 10L case, the S400. But I'm already preparing for the next upgrade, ie. the S300 - it only got 8L.

@ifixcoinops @natecull Go #smallformfactor then - combine insane amounts of power with inane amounts of efficiency inside an appaling tiny volume of space .. some of these are even meant to be carry-on or to be put in your average pelican case.

I recently bought an #HP z2 mini g9 #SmallFormFactor pc for cad / design work. It has a #i7 #12700k, 64gb and an #Nvidia rtx #a2000 gpu. In a disappointingly thermal and power-compromised (280w total) enclosure. But also only 3.5L!
Is it worth considering to swap in an i7 #13700k down the road? It would (presumably?) be limited to PL1=90w and PL2=190w, the stock settings for the 12700k in this machine.

Very quick initial #review / #handson over on the FSP Dagger Pro 850W #SFX #psu :
The unit itself is very well made, but the modular cables are .. mediocre, at best. Very stiff, rigid, dont like bending much, and way too long for regular SFX builds.
The unit itself might be great in tests, but its money thrown out of the window if one cannot use it in an ACTUAL #SmallFormFactor build!
Rather disgruntled rn.

Well, if nothing else... The #Intel Arc #A770 is one of the better looking cards on the market. Very understated and stealthy. I'll be doing a #smallformfactor build soon using the #IntelArc A770 and #13700K. I haven't done anything Intel since the 8700K, but #AMD's been getting on my nerves lately. Still annoyed I can't upgrade to the 5970X. 1 generation for a $900 motherboard... Let me stop before I go into a rant.
