One thing that has been on my mind for a while is reinventing my art journey. In the beginning, I did not really have a plan or a clear path. I just drew whatever I wanted, without thinking much about whether an audience would connect with it from week to week. I still fall into that sometimes, but now I have more direction in what I create. The cheek embroidery on Artemis is complete. I've also added some lid colour around each of their eyes. I was so tired of a single thread satin stitch that a split stitch sounded fun. I added some embroidery to the bones on the light green and coral doll arms and legs. The reason I don't edge these bones in a similar way as the skull faces, is because when stuffed, the edging stitches (stem stitch) will begin to pull away from the edge of the white bone. I don't like how it looks.
