We're getting there #smallgroup

iOS is busted but web is ok and I haven't tried Android yet.

This is kind of the vision I have for this. I'll add more music and better sorting once I get it smoothed out. This all just uses RSS Feeds so I should be able to remove the ones I added and have people add there own on there own site or atleast just made a version for The Doerfels on there site and this will be my app to build out.

I get the meme and people just need to get used to supporting people that do cool stuff they like. I got bit by the Bitcoin bug 5 years ago when I bought $20 in sats, added them to Sphinx and started sending them to podcasters. I was already supporting the No Agenda podcast with PayPal donations so the idea wasn't new to me it was just in a digital form now and instant.

Derek you but out great content and are super helpful to people so you I'd believe you see the beauty in all of this. It's just going to take time.

You can also "get by" with a #smallgroup so everyone just keep grinding.

TLDR keep zapping because it is fun to do :)

I wrote a post about small, self-directed groups for supporting each other with learning. I've spoken to others who find it hard to make progress on personal projects. I know it is a challenge for me. I think we may have a better shot if we band together. I'm interested in joining/forming a small group to encourage and support each other in learning. I've been slowly reaching out to people who I think might be interested, and at the same time thinking about what it could be. Today I came across the idea of "cooperative base groups" from a post from The Cooperative Learning Institute.

"Cooperative base groups are long-term, heterogeneous cooperative learning groups with stable membership (Johnson, Johnson, & Holubec, 2008). Members’ primary responsibilities are to (a) ensure all members are making good academic progress (i.e., positive goal interdependence) (b) hold each other accountable for striving to learn (i.e., individual accountability), and (c) provide each other with support, encouragement, and assistance in completing assignments (i.e., promotive interaction)"

Translated to a professional setting, I think that is exactly what I'm looking for.
