Weather was warm and I enjoyed the up and down of the smooth hills. 🌞
After #Eksjö I cycled through more gravelish parts and my inner child was so happy to see all this cute red cottages and farms. 🤩

Jag är så glad!
Har varit på #Riksarkivet i #Härnösand och letat efter spår av de #bävrar som sattes ut i #Småland 1937. Enligt den officiella historieskrivningen har den betraktats som misslyckad.
#Regeringen beslöt 1943 att bävrarna skulle flyttas. Hittills har ingen kunnat svara på vad som hände sen.
Som en nål i en höstack, eller: som ett ark i Kungliga Domänstyrelsens 5000 hyllmeter efterlämnade arkiv, har jag nu funnit svaret.Så fantastiskt att vi har #arkiv som Riksarkivet !!

Last night was very cold following a warm day, for the time of year. On the surface of my local river dozens of small ice plates were formed. Each plate was about 25cm in diameter. I don't know if these objects have a name, but I call them "ice pizzas".

A once every three year job finished, cutting the circular hedge around the well back to mid chest height! The pump is from 1908 and works fine except in the coldest of months.
