"About 1 in 10 #Jewish adults say that in the past year, they or someone in their household has been physically #assaulted. A similar share had #propertydamaged or destroyed specifically because of their Jewish background.
About 2 in 10 Jewish adults say they or someone in their household has been called a #slur, #threatened, verbally #harassed or verbally abused. Similarly, about 2 in 10 say they experienced #online #harassment or #cyberbullying. Overall, about 3 in 10 of Jewish adults say that they or someone in their household has experienced at least one of these incidents because of their Jewish background.

When is a word used as a slur in a historical context? How to deal with it? I dug into a recent that claim that Frank Sinatra had sung a slur in one of his #songs in 1958. This was a more complex topic to understand from an #etymology, #history and #social contexts than I thought it would be.

i hate that #people act confused about why #clanker is a #racist thing to say by going "well robots aren't people!" as if the reason it's offensive is because it's an insult to robots and not just blatantly a word based off of the one common #slur in english that ends with -er and people made up this slur so they can be anti-black and pretend it's just about #AI or some shit

Never have and never will believe in "#popular #kids". All that is is a #slur against the ones who put effort into #socializing from the ones that don't. I grew up and kept to myself most of the time, but my #friend group had its tentacles in every #clique. If you shared my interests, mainly #videogames and #basketball, I was ready to mingle. I wasn't vindictive or jealous of my peers that had made more connections. That's just sad.
