War heute mit 7 anderen #Bromptonauten und Bromptonautinnen im Rahmen des #slowUp #Bodensee (Schweiz) bei einem vom #Velofix in #Zürich, einer ehemaligen Mechanikerin vom Velofix und von https://faltradleben.ch/ organisierten #OrigamiRide, also einer organisierten #Faltrad #Radtour.

In #Romanshorn haben wir dann noch Tipsi vom Bromptonauten-Forum (https://bromptonauten.cc/) mit seinem #Brompton P12RD mit Schlumpf #MountainDrive und #Marsupilami auf dem Rückweg von einer Alpenpass-Tour getroffen.

Tag 2 meiner #Bodenseeumrundung mit'm #Brompton war der #slowUp #Bodensee #Schweiz im #Oberthurgau. Hab deswegen für 2 Nächte mein Zelt auf dem Campingplatz Seebad Amriswil in #Uttwil, 4km westlich von Romanshorn aufgeschlagen. Die Rundfahrt (Einstieg überall möglich) führte für mich von #Romanshorn über #Amriswil und #Muolen nach Horn und dann retour über #Arbon nach Romanshorn. Dort habe ich jemand mit einem #HaseTagun getroffen und wir haben gefachsimpelt. 50km, ~230hm

Einen habbich noch, einen habbich noch vom #slowUp #Seetal für die #WeirdCarMastodon Kraut äh Crowd:

Ein #Citroën #2CV (ist ja fast noch normal 😉) und griechischen #NamcoPony mit anscheinend (relativ sicher nicht original verbauten) #CitroënGS-Vierzylinder-#Boxermotor (statt dem #Zweizylinder-Boxermotor aus der #Ente).

Kleiner Nachtrag zum #slowUp #Seetal: Laut den offiziellen Angaben des Veranstalters (https://www.slowup.ch/seetal/de.html) waren trotz des teilweise starken Regens 17'000 Teilnehmer dabei!

Anbei noch ein paar Eindrücke von der Strecke. Die offizielle Bildergalerie ist unter https://www.slowup.ch/seetal/de/medien-bilder/bildergalerien.html zu finden. Man sieht auch einen Brompton-Fahrer in leuchtgelb. War aber nicht ich.

Der nächste slowUp im Seetal findet erst wieder im 2026 statt, da er nur im Zweijahresrhythmus stattfindet.

Yesterday I noticed that there is a good event for people who like to walk, cycle, rollerblade, skateboard and more. The [Lavaux Slowup](https://www.veveylavauxup.ch/) is scheduled for the 9th of June 2024 this year.

The advantage of a slow up is that roads are closed to traffic so for a few hours people can benefit from the entire width of the road to cycle, walk, run, scoot, rollerblade or do other sports.

The last one I did was in Bulle and that was a relaxed loop around a lake, up and down a few hills. Two of us were on bikes and another was on roller blades.

The Lavaux slow up is linear rather than a loop. You can take the train to the start, skate or ride along the route, and then take the train home. What makes this route special is that you have a good view of the vineyards from the lake side. It doesn’t seem to go into the vineyards.

This is a golden opportunity to have an easy bike ride, or other, along the lake, without worrying about cars and other vehicles.

For once human beings have priority over vehicles.

## And Finally

In theory this is a 10km walk, so quite easy to do for most people. Cully can be reached by train and bus, and Vevey is also easy to get to, and from.

Kurz vor dem Schulbeginn nach den Sommerferien findet in unserer Gegend ein Slow Up statt. Das GPS registrierte 38.1 KM und 270 Höhenmeter.

Die Runde beginnt gleich mit einem Aufstieg durch die Altstadt von Brugg, dann entlang der römischen Ausgrabungen von Vindonissa (Windisch). Es wird schattig während der Fahrt ein Stück das Reusstal hinauf. Dann bei Mülligen schon der nächste Uphill hinauf auf das Birrfeld.

Gefühl...
