One insider tip was the climb of "Große Windschar" (3041m) in the Rieserferner Group in #SouthTyrol, Central Eastern #Alps. Pure loneliness and silence 🧘

While you can climb the #vulcano Vesuvio with hundreds of (bad-equiped) tourists by buying your ticket one week before (grrrr... 🤬), why not go for a hike on the old crater ("somma") with no tourists around?
