If I made a #videogame with the use of an #AI, will you consider the us the AI as #slopAI or as an assisting tool?
Considering this two conditions:
* I don't how to code
* The content will be originalI am just curios about the bias.

i like the "magic" motifs they're giving slop machines with sparkles and everything
they really are like genies
- inscrutable, their magic need not be explained
- pernicious, love to grant your wish in the worst possible way
- capricious
- nothing exists anywhere anytime that actually does what people think they should be able to do
- after an encounter, you're typically worse off and you should have learned a lesson because of it

This evening I had to wire a mains power plug. I've done this lots of times and when I think about it the first time I did it I was far too young to be allowed near such tasks. Still, I don't do it often and I'm careful, both of which mean I'm still alive.
I wanted to check I had phase & neutral around the right way so I grabbed my phone and did a quick search for a diagram with the right labels. I'm in Aotearoa/New Zealand so we use the plug style the Australians use.
The first diagram I found was a UK style plug, though it was labeled Australian. Hmm. The second one showed the correct style but it showed the plug and the socket, which would have been okay except the labels on the pins contradicted each other.
I don't often search with my phone, and I realized I had not turned off the AI, which may have been the problem. Meanwhile Mrs had found a decent diagram on her tablet so I used that. Everything worked, no one died.
But this kind of thing really could kill someone.

Avec ma mère on s'envoit les affiches IA qu'on rencontre sur le net pour s'amuser à qui trouve le plus d'erreurs et d'hallucinations.
(On fait face comme on peut à cette merde)
L'affiche du jour est presque pas trop moche. C'est de la bouillie IA générique mais il faut regarder dans les détails pour voir le très bizarre comme la main de la chanteuse qui fusionne avec le micro, la main du batteur avec des doigts baguettes, les corps et visages des gens attablés au fond.
Ah si, il y a quand même un petit truc... Tous les musiciens et les mecs dans le public sont manifestement une seule et unique personne. Idem pour la chanteuse et les femmes du publics.
Tout est normal...

@admin non ricordo se ne avevamo già parlato in qualche assemblea o qui in timeline, ma di certo nel manifesto non c'è menzione.
Volevo proporre per la prossima #puntassemblea (ovvero per marzo 2036 :awesome: ) di discutere l'obbligo oppure il vivo e vibrante suggerimento di indicare quando un contenuto (di qualsiasi tipo) è stato generato completamente o in parte con l'intelligenza artificiale.
La situazione peggiorerà nei prossimi anni, a mio modesto avviso dobbiamo prepararci a una invasione di questa merda.
Non ho idea di come si possa fare o se si possa fare... parliamone. -

Girano sui social profili che postano continuamente immagini come queste spacciandole per vere, o peggio, in modo più subdolo, non dicendo nulla e lasciando credere che lo siano.
Chiaramente siamo davanti a porcherie #SlopAI schifezze generate dall'AI senza alcun senso.
Tutto questo per fare solo una domanda.
Ma perché? Io giuro che non lo capisco, che senso ha? -

Why did we stop to middle fingering Nvidia?
The repulsion that causes me browsing #linkedin can't be expressed with words...
The most annoying thing is people prostrating in front of the #Nvidia CEO. We see this disgusting skit every time there is someone that is wealthier than the others and every time we must watch the saddest show of hordes of lackeys prostrating themselves to kiss his feet.
Now another useless billionaire is telling worldwide, especially to next generation, to be an expert on #AI.
For god sake, anybody explain to me what fuck does it mean being an expert on AI? What it is supposed to be the expertise? Holy Christ!
I am pretty sure that his not telling anybody to become a finest mathematician or competent engineer.
Why do we have to listen someone that is telling to our children to be ignorant and let him become the wealthiest of the wealthiest?

LLM/AI do not understand me…
This is totally unscientific and purely speculative…
I my personal experience I am struggling a lot to let understand LLM/AI what I want. I do believe to explain myself clearly but I don't get the desired outcome.
Thus I have started to believe this models are calibrated to understand linear thinking specifically. I have an artistic education and I am graduated in Fine Arts, I spent all my years of education developing the right hemisphere of my brain (and this is why a struggle a lot with coding), therefore when I write a prompt to these LLM they don't grasp my non-linear thoughts.
And this is why them struggle to do the task I assigned them and I struggle to get my job done properly...
Perhaps it might be true… 🤔

In a word without ideas, in which the #slopAI and #crapAI are incapable to fill the gap, and where the first lost are the exactly the #marketers...
